Journeyman: 80 Q, 150 min, open book, 75% to pass. Master: 76 Q, 180 min, open book, 75% to pass. Both computer-based via PSI; candidate must bring own bound reference materials.

No reciprocity — Michigan holds no reciprocal agreements with any state. Out-of-state applicants must have experience verified and pass the Michigan exam (a 90-day temporary journeyman license may be granted once approved to sit the exam).
