Terms of Service

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This page explains what you get when you buy Kevin's Electrical Prep Course, what it costs, and what each of us is responsible for. Plain English, no fine print games. By buying or using the course you're agreeing to what's below.

Who you're dealing with: Kevin's Electrical Prep Course LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. You can reach us any time at kevinselectricalprepcourse@gmail.com.

What you're buying

Access to an online study program for the journeyman and master electrician license exams. Your access includes both code books — the NEC 2023 platform and the NEC 2026 platform — and you can switch between them any time in Settings.

What's inside: practice questions with worked-out answers, timed practice tests, video lessons, drive-along audio, flash cards, math help, and printable study sheets.

Price and how long it lasts

Your account

Your login is for you. Please don't share it, sell it, or let other people use it. Accounts that appear to be shared may be shut off without a refund.

Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has it, change it or tell us and we'll help.

The material belongs to us

The questions, explanations, videos, audio, and worksheets are our original work. You're welcome to use them to study and to print the printable pages for your own use. Please don't copy, republish, resell, or distribute them, and please don't record or re-upload the videos.

NEC® and National Electrical Code® are registered trademarks of the National Fire Protection Association. We are an independent exam-prep resource and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFPA, PSI, or any testing provider or licensing board.

Refunds — the Pass Guarantee

If you do the work and still don't pass, you get your money back. The full requirements and the request form are on the Refund Policy & Pass Guarantee page.

In short, you qualify if you failed your state exam twice within your 6 months (with proof of both), scored at least 70% on the practice tests, and completed at least 70% of the material. Every request is reviewed by hand. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.

Outside of that guarantee, sales are final — you get immediate access to everything the moment you buy, so we can't take the material back.

What we promise, and what we don't

We work hard to keep everything accurate and current with the code book you're studying. Every question and code reference is checked against the actual NEC.

We can't promise you'll pass. Exams are written and scored by your state and its testing provider, not by us. This course is study material — it is not legal advice, not engineering advice, and not a substitute for your own judgment or your state's licensing requirements. Always follow the code book and the authority having jurisdiction on real work.

We also can't promise the site will never be down. We keep it running as best we can, and if a long outage eats into your access we'll extend your time — just ask.

If something goes wrong

If you're unhappy, email us first. We're a small Michigan business and we'd genuinely rather fix it than argue about it. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility is limited to what you paid us. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top. Changes apply going forward — they won't change the deal on a purchase you already made.
